Located in historic Newberry, South Carolina, we are in an area where history and family heirlooms are of the utmost importance. Our customers put faith in us to be proficient in the preservation and protection of their priceless heirlooms.
We follow a strict restoration process in order to guarantee the best possible results.
All items are examined to determine the type of wood. Every species of wood is different, so it has to be treated differently.
We repair and/or replace any damaged or missing wood and tighten all joints for stability.
All furniture is cleaned by hand, NOT DIPPED. Sandpaper is not used because it cuts into the precious wood and removes the grain. Only newly added replacement wood will be sanded so that it will conform to the piece of furniture.
Once the old finish has been removed, the process of bringing the wood back to life begins. Each process is determined by the type of finish that is best suited for the species of wood and its usage.
Once all the processes are completed, you will have furniture that has been brought back to life and will be ready for use for generations to come.
